It is my birthday today … never thought in my wildest dreams I would never get to hear your wish again … your laugh and your smile and your way of calling me specially… wish you were here around this day when I am celebrating my birthday ,to tease me about me getting older and laugh at my silly jokes… I know that you are watching over me and will be our angel taking care of us... but still deep inside wishing you were with me this day…. Jesus what a wonder you are! Nobody ever can make out what plans the Lord has for us, but one thing we all know and should believe and engrave in our hearts and mind is that, God does not plan anything for our disaster, he only plans for our good as He has promised to our forefathers in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know what plans I have for you, says the Lord .They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you future and hope “. This is what I believe and this is what gets me going in my day today life. This gives me the encouragement to face trials and tribulations with the hope that my Lord will not forsake me; He is with me and will be with me till the end of ages. Most of us go astray because we do not know the power of God, or the power of the word of God. God has the power to deliver us from all kinds of evil, He has the power to help us face our day today problems which many of them do not understand and hence go away from their heavenly father. We have a father in heaven waiting for us, just like a father caring for his child so does the heavenly father love us and cares about us. So wonderfully he cares for us as it says in Psalms 23:4 “ Even though I walk through the valley of death , I will fear no evil for you are with me “ . PRAISE THE LORD! That is the confidence we need to have with Jesus on our side, nothing in this world can defeat us and nothing can hurt us because Jesus is with us by our side. He changes and He plans only for our good and not for our disaster, such a loving Father he is . Our parents , sisters , brothers all of them make promises to do several things for us, buy gifts and many more but they might not be able to fulfil them or keep the promises they have made to us , but you know what ? No promises that Jesus said or made not gone unfulfilled. He has fulfilled all the needs of his dear ones , If Jesus has said that If you believe everything is possible , that is his promise to us and let me say , everybody who has believed in Him has been saved from illness, financial problems , loss of peace and so many more. Praise Be to God Forever!!

“Make God your only joy and He will give what your heart desires.”Psalms 37:5

What a wonderful promise of the Lord that is, if you find happiness in serving God, being with God truly God will give you what your heart desires. It is the promise of the Lord and the Lord always keeps his promises. Nobody ever, who has lived according to the word of the Lord ever been forsaken, nobody who has served the Lord has ever been put to shame. God has always raised them up and been with them throughout. As it is said in 2 Timothy 2: 12 “If we deny Him, He will deny us .If we endure WE WILL REIGN WITH HIM ”. Only if we stand strong with the Lord we can reign with him. No matter whatever happens in life, we should try to find happiness in the Lord. He is the good shepherd and when he is with us, we need not worry. When something goes wrong we go around talking with others, people sympathize with us , we ask them to pray for us , we cry , we try to find happiness and peace from worldly things but if we find joy being with God – that is the joy that will last forever. Sickness, troubles, problems in our day today lives is a door through which God enters our life. If you desire to be with God, God will be with you.
James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you”.

The Silence of God ....

In this present day world where all of us are behind fast and easy techniques to achieve what we want it is not easy and pretty difficult for us to wait patiently for something. Taking examples of all the beauty products it promises whiter fair and clear skin within 7 days –how good is that? And also in cooking , to make everything easy and simple – just 3 steps get the meat or vegetables cut them , add the ready made mix of spices or gravy and here you go your food is ready just within a matter of few minutes sometimes. We are always behind fast and easy techniques in our day today life. And at last when it comes to prayer , when we start praying for anything we also start demanding Lord to make it quick .But the Lord sometimes chooses to be silent rather than a quick reply. And when He is silent
we do not understand that He has chosen to be silent for a reason and we turn away from our Father.

In the bible we see that the Lord remained silent for many days and even years. After so many years of patient waiting, the glory of our Almighty God shined upon them. We should believe that our God is quite and remains silent in our life not because he is incapable or he hates us but it is to bring us up for the glory of God. Our Father loves us so much that he does not like us to remain as we are but he wants us, his children to be raised to an image as holy as our heavenly Father. As it is said in the scriptures “But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16.
In the scriptures it is said that a message was first sent to Jesus that Lazarus was ill (John 11) , but Jesus said "This illness is not to end in death, but is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it."John 11:4. And He just went about in the same place and did not go to meet Lazarus ,Martha or Mary. After four days of Lazarus death he went to them . But Martha still believed that Jesus would perform a miracle,even though her brother passed away 4 day ago and he said “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you."John 11:22. That is the faith she had and if you believe in God, He will not abandon you . And Jesus raised Lazarus and turned it for the glory of God.

Our God will not abandon us; if He is silent it is only for our good. As the Lord asks each one of us in Sirach 2:10 “Has anyone hoped in the LORD and been disappointed? Has anyone persevered in his fear and been forsaken? has anyone called upon him and been rebuked?” . So just trust in the Lord , He is there for us .

എന്തൊരു സ്വര്‍ഗീയ സമാധാനം ...
എന്‍ യേശു... എന്‍ അരികെ ഉള്ളപ്പോള്‍ ....
എന്‍റെ പിതാവ് ... എന്‍ അടുത്തുള്ളപ്പോള്‍ ....

What a wonderful quote is that... I felt like sharing this with each one of you all... Often in our day today life....we hold onto certain things and we just cannot let them go, and leave it to God ... as the scriptures say it is maybe because we do not know the power of God. We really cannot think what miracles and wonders God can work through us and we end up losing everything we have and we become depressed .Only once we stop thinking about our present problems , troubles only then God can work through us.We are so much involved in our life that we do not even think of what God can do. We should always place our destiny into the hands of the Lord and not what others say or think."We place our destiny into the hands of the Lord and not in the hands of men for his mercy is as great as his majesty"Sirach 2:18.If we place them into the hands of the Lord , whatever that worries you it maybe the job , children . family problems, tensions ,anxiety,hatred anything.... just place it into the hands of our Almighty Father – He is there for us and will turn everything to our good. He is ready waiting for us... he is waiting to take our burdens , problems and troubles no matter what they may be.... he will take it from you and work through you and turn everything for the Glory of God.Most of us have desires and wishes .. I always tell my desires to God and just place them into the hands of the Lord and I must say , he has truly helped me through everything in my life . my inner desires,wishes ,troubles and tensions I have always places them into His hands .As it is said in Isaiah 59:1 “The hand of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.” What a loving God have we all got .. who is there for us to help us and save us .. so just place them into his hands and we will be blessed and the spirit of God will strengthen us .
